Good Day my Family in Christ !!
How wonderful is the presence of the Lord ! Our time last night with the Lord was amazing ! We began to storm the thrown of God with prayer and His presence fill our church. We then sang TO HIM our hearts out and WOW ! That's all I can say is WOW ! Jessi, our worship leader began to sing " Night and day, night and day let YOUR name arise. Night and day, night and day let worship arise !" HIS presence was there!!  2 people gave their hearts to Jesus and 2 more rededicated themselves to the Lord!   God is drawing the lost hearts to HIM.
  The message was "Go tell some one" The woman at the well in John 4 went back to her village and told them about her encounter with Jesus.
Joh 4:39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed upon Him because of the saying of the woman, who testified, He told me all that I ever did.   Notice that the woman was a very unlikely candidate to be an evangelist, but the fruit was people coming to Jesus. Another example is the demoniac at Gadarenes. In Mark 5 where Jesus cast out the "Legion" of demons from yet another unlikely evangelist that I affectionately call demon boy, Jesus told him after he was set free to go back and tell his village what God did for him. Mar 5:20 And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And all marvelled. These unlikely ministry power houses brought many people to the Lord. All they did was share their personal encounter with every one they could and REVIVAL was the fruit. God is waiting for us to do the same.
  On another note , the pancake breakfast and hair cutting was a great success!! We raised over $350 to help with the woman's retreat in Sept. Thank you all who participated , helped  and gave !!

GPS: God's Positioning System

Good Day my family in Christ !!
 What a great  time we had with the Lord and one with another last night at Island Church !! There were many visitors and friends attending with the Power and Presence of God very tangible ! Pastor Teresa has been reading Psalms  95 & 149 and stirring us up before we even begin to sing !!  The more enthusiastically we sing and worship God, the more HIS presence is tangible. The message was an encouragement to follow your GPS. ( Gods Positioning System) . God has great direction for us however we need to follow the prompts to reach our destiny. Just like your electric GPS, we have an antenna that picks up the heavenly signals built right into us.Rom 8:9 But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.  (NKJ) Also we know that our antenna is on Rom 8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness  (ALIGNS) with our spirit that we are the children of God. God built into us the ability to align directly with HIM and be led.  Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
  There are many scriptures that describe who we are called to be in Christ, or  that show us our destiny, (destination). One of our ladies from church Jamie shared a testimony about the Lord leading her toward this young man and had a word for him. Turns out that he had been asking God about the exact things she told him. WOW !   Jesus used GPS to direct Jamie to this young man and his path was set straight. It's not just about us, it's about impacting others for the Kingdom of God. Many came forward for prayer and healing and many were touched by the Lord. One lady had something choking her and one of our faithful prayer warriors cast  a demon off her in Jesus name, and she felt it leave !!  Yahoo Jesus !

  Next Sat. morning we have an outreach / fundraiser pancake breakfast and hair cut day. So please pray for it's success in the Lord and for new people to meet Jesus. It goes from 9 AM till 2 PM.

Good day my family in Christ! Pastor Teresa and I are back from vacation and we've heard wonderful things happened while we were gone !!  This past week 4 people answered an invitation to receive Jesus and some people were healed !!  Thank you Jesus !!  Zee from Calvary Worship Center came with her team and worshipped the Lord followed by a message from Gram Jones !  The Holy spirit was there and all were moved !!  Gram spoke about getting out of Gods way. Don't keep saying you'll pray about it, when God told you to do something, just get out there and do IT !  Pray, however trust God to be GOD and it will all work out fine.

2012 Spring Baptism

Good Day my family in Christ !
 First off, thank youl for praying for us, cards and flowers ...  it was all amazing !  We had a great time in the Lord Sat night !!  HIS presence again was with us through out the whole time ! We talked about baptism and leaving behind the old gods from Joshua 24. Israel went through many water baptisms over the years, Abraham from Terah, crossed the river, left  behind their gods and were blessed. Jacob, "Israel",  went to Egypt and came out to be baptized in the Red Sea. But this group held the gods of Egypt in their hear hearts and complained a lot. The result is they did not walk in the blessings of the Lord,but they walked in a wilderness relationship the whole time. The next generation were baptized in the Jordan. Joshua 24:14 "Now therefore fear the LORD and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD. 15 And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."
This Saturday we are having a baptism at church ! Please , make a list of the gods of your past as we will burn them ( with out reading them) then be baptized . I want the Lord to bless you and your decision to proclaim HIM as you surrender your old self in the water and rise to new life with Jesus !
We will start promptly at 6 pm. Please feel free to bring food if you like as this is always a celebration !! T-shirt and shorts are appropriate, bring a towel and change of clothes.

Good Morning My Friends in Christ !!

We have been experiencing the continued love and presence of God at our church services Wed. & Sat. nights. Thank you all so much for praying for God to move with us and in our community ! The message this week was about what we do with our time. In Ps. 25 it says if we wait on the Lord we will not be put to shame. Psa 25:9 He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way. Psa 25:21 May integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you. Waiting on the Lord requires us to spend time with HIM. There are so many things that call for our time. Wait on the Lord, He loves it when you do. 

We are looking forward to seeing you this Sat night at 6 for an amazing time in God's presence !!

THANK YOU JESUS !!

Good Day My friends in Christ !
 I do expect the Lord to be present when HIS children gather to worship HIM, and last night was no exception ! The worship time was anointed with all the congregation singing loud and beautiful to our heavenly Father. What a sweet presence of God felt by all. The message was about restoration and God is in the restoration business. Starting from John 1:1 - 5 we established that God not only created the world but it became evil and didn't recognize its Creator. As we searched the book of John we found that Jesus came to save the world and came to restore it to its right relationship with HIM. We buy all kinds of lies from the world that draw us away from God, but Jesus came to remedy that. Paul said in Rom 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, in order to prove by you what is that good and pleasing and perfect will of God. According to  this, our minds need renewing and that's part of the restoration process. We had a wonderful time at the alter and many lives were touched. THANK YOU JESUS !!  
Our many thanks to those involved in donating us new carpet and installing it in our sanctuary and children's room upstairs. The transformation of the building has been so wonderful and life giving. Manny of you have been such a huge part of that through you giving and you serving. THANK YOU !!
We look forward to seeing each of you this Wed night @ 7pm for corporate bible study and next Sat. night @ 6pm. when we will be blessed by a message from Pastor Dr. Joseph Ford of Calvary Worship Center.

Good Day my Family in Christ !!

GREAT, GREAT, GREAT is HIS NAME !!!  What a time we had in the Lord Sat night !! After an anointed time of singing with passion to the Lord. Then Holy Spirit gave a great message thru Graham Jones about revelation from God. Deut 29:29The secret things belong to Jehovah our God, but the revealed things belong to us and to our sons forever, so that we may do all the words of this Law. God wants us to get revelation from  HIM and pass it on to our children. Not only does HE want us to have HIS revealed things but that we may "DO THEM."
There was an igniting and filling of the Holy Spirit to many, 4 received Salvation, and many were touched and left totally changed !! Pastor Teresa came down stairs from Children's church towards the end of the service and told me  "When hit the bottom stair, I got weak in the knees with the intensity of the presence of the Lord ! "    New people felt welcome and old were refreshed ! Thank you Lord for YOUR faithfulness to always show up !!

Speak Life!

Good Day my Family in Christ !!
We had a great time in God's presence tonight!! From singing to Him, the children dancing and all of you worshipping.... Yahoo what a blessing!
Pastor Teresa gave a fiery message on the promises of God with lots of meat and potatoes from the word of God. Those promises of God are the truth about every circumstance we could go through. When our marriage was about to end, what was true was that it was over 13 years ago. But ..... The truth of God's word was that Jesus came to heal the broken hearted and set the captives free. That is exactly what HE did. So the TRUTH is higher than what may be presently true.What we speak. Pro 18:21Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it shall eat the fruit of it.
What we say has power  and if we speak live over every situation, It has to line up with God's word. ( HIS promises ) We later spoke life over peoples circumstances and I can't wait to hear how they changed !! Please let me know how the recording came out as I'm sending it along.

Good Day My Friends in Christ !

I am amazed by the goodness of GOD ! He is so real ! We had HIM visit us Sat. night during worship as we dedicated a new alter to the Lord by praying for our loved ones there and anointing it with oil. We raised the roof for Jesus with song and invited people to get prayed for to personally feel God's Love. We then had a prophetic demonstration with a leaf blower. A WHAT? That's right a "leaf blower", (TURNED ON)  it puts out abundant amounts of concentrated wind, and that's how the Lord wants to flow thru us.  With HIS concentrated power and effect everything we come in contact with.

The Lord spoke thru Danny Steyne about our destiny and letting go of vices and bitterness. All I can say is there was lots of prayer, lots of tears, lots of laughter, lots of healing, lots of deliverance, and some salvations.............    WOW !!

Last week one girl got healed from a fractured and chipped elbow. They took x rays, we prayed over it, she went back for more xrays a few days later and they can't find the fracture of the chip.  We hung her sling on the wall ! OH YA !!  Many new people came and were touched by the presence of the Lord. Thank you all for bringing your faith to see God move in our midst !! KEEP IT UP !!  We'll see you all this Sat at 6pm and next Wed. night at 7pm for Holy Spirit bible study with Richard and Lydia Borst.

Plant a seed...

Good Day My Family in Christ,

Just when I think things are  good, the Lord is greater !! Oh my, did we have a time with Jesus last night !! We had a time to worship with singing to the Lord and every one sang with passion and fire !!

Many people came forward in the tangible presence of God as we layed down or struggles  at the foot of the cross.  Powerful isn't an adequate word to describe it. More like amazing.
We followed with a message from Acts 8 when Philip ministered to a whole town then an Ethiopian eunic. Philip followed the prompting of the Holy Spirit and led many to Christ!! We all gave testimony and praised Jesus as we followed the trail from Uncle Dan Spencer : " a seed the Holy Spirit planted through him in 1999." We got to hear the inside story of how the first time he fasted was with Teresa for me ( Pastor Lee) to get saved, and it worked.  Uncle Dan has a real gift of evangelism, prayed and imparted the gift to all that wanted it. Needless to say almost the whole church went up for prayer.

Uncle Dan said he'd never seen a church family quite like ours. " So much love! This is the real deal" he said. Also several people got healed completely : 2 from back pain 2 from anxiety and fear, 2 from unforgiveness, and one from cancer. ( We're believing for the clean medical report from the Dr. this week in Jesus name)

WOW what a night !!  See you Wed for more on forgiveness and next Sat for supernatural service with the Holy Spirit !!

Uncle Dan is coming!

Dear Family in Christ,

What a beautiful day the Lord has given us today! I pray that you will be filled with His joy all day.

We have some exciting news to share. The man that led us to the Lord(Uncle Dan) is coming to visit us. He will be arriving tonight and staying with us until Sunday night.

We wanted to invite you to come and meet him this Saturday night at service. The Lord has impacted so many lives because of our Uncle Dan's obedience to ask us "Do you know Jesus?  Do you put Him first in your life, before your husband, before your kids?" Those two questions were our answer when we were about to end our marriage.

Many lives have been touched and we would like to take time to encourage Dan to keep up the boldness, so please come and share your story.

Our Wed. night Bible study was amazing last night! Testimonies were shared of what the Lord had
done that day that confirmed His Word about forgiveness. Forgiveness is a major key to answered prayer, peace, and joy!

I want to say thank you to all who shared so transparently last night about real struggles and how
the Lord spoke to you and released you from the torment of unforgiveness.

His grace and peace be multiplied to you,

Dear Family in Christ,

We have a very new member in our family named Adrianna. She was born last night at 8:23, weighing 7lbs. 13oz. ,201/2 in. long and absolutely beautiful. She is at the UMass hospital on Belmont st. We praise the Lord for a very healthy baby and delivery.

I would like to set up a plan for meals to be brought to them for at least a week.
Marybeth will be released from the hospital on Wed. or Thur. so I'm thinking they should start for Thur. dinner.

I will bring a sign up sheet to the Wed. night bible study or you can email us with the night that you would like bring them a meal.

Happy Resurrection Week!

Good Day My Family in Christ !

Happy Resurrection week! We were so blessed by the presence of the Lord Sat. night in worship, communion, and to top it off there were several salvation's!! The message was about restored relationship with the FATHER and that Jesus came to do that. We ended with a terrific meal enjoyed by all. WOW, what a great night !  Wed. night we had the privilege of hearing Richard and Lydia Borst teach on forgiveness part 1 . So powerful as we went through the Lords prayer in Matt.6:9-15. Jesus ends it all by saying that if we don't forgive others that God will not forgive us. Definitely something not to fool around with.  We will surely enjoy Richard and Lydia next Wed. for part 2 on forgiveness. The recorded messages will be along shortly. We look forward to seeing you this coming Wed. @ 7:00PM and next Sat @ 6:00 PM for a great time with the Lord.

Today we celebrate the rising of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Yahoo!

I'm reminded of Romans 8:9 - 11

"But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. And if Christ is in you, indeed the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

But if the Spirit of the One who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, the One who raised up Christ from the dead shall also make your mortal bodies alive by His Spirit who dwells in you."    

"We live in the power of God because HE lives in us !! " That's good news !

Easter Dinner!

Dear Family in Christ,

Pastor Lee and I are so excited to share in the celebration of our Risen Lord this Saturday night with you!
We are praying for open doors to invite neighbors, family members and coworkers, to reveal and remind them that the same Spirit that rose Jesus from
the dead, lives in us when we believe.

Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your
mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but will have everlasting life.

YaHoo!!!! Now that's something worth celebrating!!!!!! 

We will share a meal together after service, so come hungry. Ham and smashed potatoes will be provided. We are asking you to bring a side dish or a dessert if
you are able. There will be plenty for everyone...so don't feel that you have to bring something.

Service will begin at our regular time 6:00pm. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call or email us.

Spiritual Sons and Daughters

Good Day my Friends in Christ !!

What a great day that the Lord has made !! Boy oh Boy did we have a wonderful time in God's presence last night !! The time of worship started with some " Mama's" testimonies of answered prayer for their children. This was followed up by singing, dancing, an alter full of those being healed and an alter call that brought 2 lives recommitted to the Lord !! Thank you Jesus. Thank you Jess and worship team for your hearts to worship the Lord with the gift that He's given you. Thank you those that spoke out what the LORD spoke to you !!

Last week we went to our annual dove Leaders conference in MD. and it was great ! We came back filled and recharged with the power of God ! Ya hoo !  There were several things that I shared last night from the trip, but the one thing that stands out is the lesson on sons and daughters.

As a SON , Jesus went after HIS Father for all his direction and messages. John 5:19 Then Jesus answered and said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, The Son can do nothing of Himself but what He sees the Father do. For whatever things He does, these also the Son does likewise.

As Jesus went after HIS Father for natural and spiritual direction and the disciples went after Jesus for the same. Our spiritual father, is someone that we trust, who pours into us on a regular basis, prays for us and is there when we call. It's our responsibility as "spiritual sons and daughters to SEEK AFTER our spiritual moms and dads. It's their job to hear from God and pour out what they hear. I want not only what my spiritual dad "HAS", but what "HAS HIM".

I want his gifts, knowledge and anointing, but more so, I want the force that drives him ! I want that thing, that passion that got him in the first place. To get that, I need to go after him, spend time, listen & be obedient, initiate meetings, and be a son like Jesus was a SON. (Then GOD, the Father held nothing back.)

Ultimately, God is our Father and HE has set spiritual fathers and mothers in our lives !  Go after them, grow and enjoy that relationship !!  Jesus was a SON, and HE was also a spiritual father to the disciples. Pray for spiritual children. It's God's plan for mentoring and discipleship.

See you this Wed. night at 7:00 and next Sat. at 6:00 . Bring a friend  and see them come to Jesus!!
